Lucas G. “Luke” Radney is a trial attorney who handles general civil litigation and administrative matters. Mr. Radney routinely handles personal injury and wrongful death, product liability (including subrogation), business torts, contract disputes, commercial litigation (including debt collection and consumer protection claims falling within the purview of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act), contested wills, and probate litigation. In addition, Mr. Radney has extensive experience in the handling of Social Security Disability Claims from the administrative level through the Federal District Court, first party disability insurance claims, and ERISA litigation.

 

Mr. Radney was born in Dallas, Texas but raised in nearby Waxahachie, Texas. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 2002. While at Texas A&M, Mr. Radney was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient and a member of Pi Sigma Alpha (National Political Science Honor Society). Mr. Radney attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas and was a member of the Board of Advocates. He was awarded a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2006.

 

Mr. Radney currently practices throughout the state of Texas out of the Firm’s office in Dallas, Texas and affiliate office in Houston, Texas.

Construction site accidents: has taken to a defense verdict and/or reached favorable resolution of more than a dozen cases involving serious injury or death on construction sites or involving heavy equipment.

Oil field accidents: successfully defended Houston based oil field service companies in personal injury suits filed from operations in North Dakota’s Bakken Field to Texas.

 

Business disputes: successfully prosecuted suits for business clients including to wind up and terminate.

 

Appellate: successful appeal to the Dallas Court of Appeals to return seized livestock.

Mr. Radney has been licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas since 2007. He is a member of the Bars of the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western, and Southern Districts of Texas. Mr. Radney is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Litigation Section of the Texas Bar Association. Mr. Radney recently served as President of his homeowners’ association. Mr. Radney is an active member of his homeowners’ association. He and his wife live in Dallas and enjoy time with their son.
