Andrea “Andi” Peel was born and raised in Rock Island, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in business studies.  Andi attended law school at South Texas College of Law and received her J.D. in May of 2001.  Since law school, Andi has maintained a diverse civil litigation practice in the areas of insurance law, personal injury/wrongful death defense, transportation and trucking litigation, construction defects, premises liability, and professional liability.

  • WHAT ARE COURT ADMISSIONS?

    Court admissions refer to the official recognition and authorization that allows a lawyer to practice law and represent clients in a specific court or set of courts. Each court or jurisdiction has its own requirements and process for admitting attorneys to practice before it.

    State Bar of Texas (2001)
    • Secured summary judgment on premises liability and negligent activity claims in a personal injury case, with dismissal of Plaintiff's claims and affirmation on appeal.

    • Managed complex civil cases, including:

      • Defense of a Fortune 500 company in toxic tort litigation.

      • Defense of an oil field services defendant in government and private cost-recovery actions under Superfund and other state and federal statutes.

      • Defense of a startup company in employment litigation.

    • Deposed and presented witnesses on topics including contract disputes, construction-related injuries, environmental regulation violations, and asbestos issues.
