Michael Forest Nelson boasts over 40 years of distinguished trail practice, specializing in intellectual property, international business, professional malpractice (including legal, accounting, and insurance agent errors), insurance coverage, DTPA, defamation (Anti-SLAPP), and tort litigation.

A proud native of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mr. Nelson’s impressive educational background includes being a National Science Foundation Scholar in Geology at Texas A&M University, earning a B.A. in Chemistry from Austin College, an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston, and a J.D. with honors from the University of Texas Law School. Adding to his already impressive education, Mr. Nelson is also a certified public accountant (CPA). Prior to his law degree, Mr. Nelson gained valuable experience working for the FDIC in Houston and Puerto Rico.
